Risk assessment

Risk assessment and risk management plans are completed by centre staff for each site and program type. These draw attention to departmental guidelines for conducting activities but also stress special conditions that apply such as:

  • No smoking policy.
  • Dress code for participating teachers and parent helpers.
  • Administering of medication.
  • Water bottles/supply particularly for early childhood students.
  • Site specific emergency contact numbers.
  • Parent identification on all programs.
